Styrian breakfast

As we want our guests’ days to start with superlatives, we placed a strong emphasis on introducing local tastes in our breakfast offer. We collaborate with the Municipality of Šentilj and its Zadruga Dobrote, as well as with other local suppliers, and thus provide authentic local food for breakfast.

Our offer consists of the Kocbek Oil Mill's pumpkin seed oil and pumpkin seed flavours, Sirk's marmalades in typical Styrian flavours (Jurka grapes, plum, blackberry, apricot), locally produced honey from Čebelarstvo Cesar, as well as young cheese and meat products from Turistična kmetija Sirk. The exquisite home-made liver pate is made in the Mond's kitchen. Frešjabka grape juice and elderflower juice are local specialities, among other flavours. We prepare fresh smoothies daily from locally supplied fruits, as well as yoghurt, which we mix in our kitchen. Home-made granola, in addition to Styrian nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds) and dried fruit (apples, pears, plums), is also available. We prepare it with whole grain flakes, sweetened with local honey, add hazelnuts and bake it every morning to ensure its crunchy freshness. Guests can also enjoy sweet "štrukelji", apple pie and strudel, apricot dumplings and the locally popular kaiserschmarrn.
