Is admission to the casino subject to charge?

Casino admission is free of charge, except on Fridays, when concerts take place and the concert admission protocol applies. There is also a special admission protocol on New Year’s Eve.

Who can enter the casino?

Only persons above legal age (18 years) are admitted upon submission of a passport, identity card, or driving licence.

Are persons under age (under 18 years) allowed to enter the casino, if accompanied by their parents?

No, they are not allowed to. According to the legislation in force in the Republic of Slovenia, persons under age are not allowed to enter under any circumstances, not even if they are accompanied by their parents.

I have been given a ban on entering the casino. What happens now?

The casino reserves the right to issue players or visitors who breach the game rules or casino house rules a ban on entering the casino. The ban is issued by the casino personnel, and its duration depends on the severity of the breach. Bans issued for minor breaches may be short-term (one month to one year), for major breaches they are longer-term (a few years), and in case of severe breaches (e.g. fraud attempts at play) the ban may be lifelong. A guest, who has been banned from entering the casino, may file a written request through a special form or a letter addressed to the casino management for the ban to be lifted. The casino management shall examine each case and either comply with or deny the request.

What are the hours of operation of the casino?

The casino is open 24 hours throughout the year.

What is the Privilege Club and how do I acquire membership?

The Privilege Club is a loyalty club established by the Hit Universe Of Fun aimed to award their guests.
Upon your visit stop by the Privilege Point and fill out the club membership form.

Do I need to book a table for the concert or can I attend without reservation?

Booking a table is not a precondition for attending a concert. However, if you wish to book a table, please send an email to mond@hit.si or call +386 2 655 55 24.

Do I need to buy an Austrian vignette to visit the casino?

You do not need a vignette to visit the Mond. Take the last exit “Spielfeld“ on the motorway from Graz to Maribor and proceed on the regional road. Cross the former border crossing between Austria and Slovenia. The Mond is located right after the border.

What kind of clothes can I wear?

There is no dress code. However, neat clothing is recommended. Shorts, flip-flops, and sportswear are not welcome.

What do I need to enter?

You need to register at the casino reception with a valid ID (passport, identity card, or driving licence) before entering the casino. You will not be allowed to enter the casino with an invalid ID or a copy of your ID.

What are the methods of payment in the casino?

The following payment cards are accepted: VISA, DINERS, and EUROCARD-MASTERCARD. All main currencies are also accepted at current exchange rates.

Can I self-exclude myself from entering the casino?

Yes. Each guest has the possibility to join the casino self-exclusion scheme. In order to be self-excluded, you need to supply in person to a person in charge at the casino (usually the staff at the gaming tables or slot machines) proof of identity and fill out a statutory form, where you need to indicate the desired duration of your self-exclusion (6 months to 3 years). This form is then submitted to the Gaming Supervision Division of a Special Finance Office at the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia. The latter informs of the self-exclusion all other casino concessionaires on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. The self-exclusion in the chosen duration is then valid in all casinos in the Republic of Slovenia and may not be terminated early. It shall terminate automatically on the day indicated in the form submitted upon self-exclusion.

I have lost my Privilege card. What now? What happens with the points on my card?

In case your card gets lost, please inform the personnel at the Privilege Point upon your next visit. You will be returned your card, in case it had been found, or you will be issued a new one. All the points you have collected up to this point will be recorded on your new card.
