Ptuj

Ptuj is one of the oldest towns in Slovenia and home to the world-known Kurents. It is located above old wine cellars, where the oldest vintage wine in stored.

If you don't visit Ptuj during carnival and you miss the opportunity to see the Kurents, if you also don't have the time to visit the famous Ptuj wine cellar, you are welcome to take a stroll around the town and visit other Ptuj historical attractions. Then you can treat yourself to a relaxing spa experience in Terme Ptuj. There is a golf course with 18 holes adjacent to it. It is very attractive due to its varied terrain and numerous water obstacles. The 14th hole is especially popular among players because of its spectacular strike onto an island.
